Hi my name is Christy McCubbin I teach at the Owasso 6th Grade Center I have been teaching for 21 years and five of those have been here in the Owasso school district I love to watch students grow and learn but I also love the opportunity that education allows the teacher to continue to grow and learn alongside the students and to Foster that lifelong love for learning what brings me the most of joy for learning is watching the students grow and develop over thier lifetime at school and then continuing to grow the ones that keep in touch with me outside of school and graduated and just them wanting me to know how what they're doing what goals they've met and their accomplishments they've achieved those things are so rewarding to me at the sixth grade center we're extremely blessed to have Mrs. McCubbin on the team she is not only extremely talented but she brings so much more to the table she's extremely passionate about her subject matter she was extremely passionate about her students and she's extremely passionate about her calling we are so blessed here  with such a strong social studies team they are like a well-oiled machine and she's a vital part of that and she's just so much fun to be around we call her cubby and so anytime she's out doing duty or at lunch and everyone just loves to socialize and visit with her because she's a lot of fun and our job is too hard not to have fun so she excels at her job and she's also a blessing to have here each and everyday I I needed a change after I left my old district and coming to the 6th Grade Center has allowed me to embrace a whole new family and a subject in geography with our department work so well together I just feel so fortunate to be here and in the position that I'm in and working with the people that I do everyday I'm Christy McCubbin and I'm an Owasso Ram!
