Read at Home Calendar

A "READ AT HOME CALENDAR" is part of your child's reading grade.  It is crucial that your child reads at home as much as possible.  To become BETTER READERS, WE MUST PRACTICE! Students will record the name of their book and log the pages read.  Then they will complete a reading strategy question based on their reading.  Students will receive EXTRA CREDIT (1point per night) if a parent looks over the RAHC and signs it each evening.  

 

Students must bring their READ AT HOME CALENDAR to school each day.  I will check them daily to ensure they are completing them correctly.  On Fridays, I will collect them.  Any student that does not have their RAHC to turn in will receive a ZAP.

 

READ AT HOME CALENDARS will be recorded as a homework grade and are worth 20 points (5 points for each night).
