Mrs. Sirmon's Class

Welcome to the 6th grade! Teaching has been a passion of mine since I was a child. I couldn't be more excited to be teaching at the school district grew up in. OHS class of 2008! I have been teaching for 9 years. This year begins my 10th year as an Oklahoma Educator. I graduated in 2012 from Northeastern State University. 

 

I live in the Oologah area but Owasso will always be home! My husband, Dalton, and have 4 daughters, Kasslyn, Kalyn, Bentleigh, and Briar. Kasslyn is a freshman at Skiatook, Kalyn and Bentleigh are 6th graders at Oologah and Briar is a wild toddler. When I am not teaching I am usually at swim practice or swim meets which take up most weekends. When we have free time we spend it with family or camping.

 

I cannot wait to get to know each of my students and help them be successful with the ELA curriculum. When we all work as a team (parents, students and teacher) we can overcome many obstacles.
